After having played for 31 minutes, David Andronache managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tupsani's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Andronache was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliodor Curăreanu hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Iustinian Olariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Gluhak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavian Bârlă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iustinian Olariu having to make a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jan Gluhak made a kick off. If Octavian Bârlă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tupsani's zone, Jan Gluhak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustinian Olariu came out of the goal and Jan Gluhak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silviu Avarvarei charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silviu Avarvarei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silviu Avarvarei hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Marius Ciolac made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Andronache in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, Steaua Robesti's Jan Gluhak got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Tupsani's Iustinian Olariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Gluhak in the 85th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Jan Gluhak made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tupsani's Iustinian Olariu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Laurențiu Torouţ kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Steaua Robesti fully deserved thier win.
