After having played for 14 minutes, Cristi Stolniceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chiuvegea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristi Stolniceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionuț Petru was the one to do the kick off. Apple FC's Romeo Mavrodin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Apple FC from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the match, Apple FC's goalkeeper Romeo Mavrodin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ionuț Petru. Ionuț Petru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ionuț Petru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Romeo Mavrodin having to make a save. Romeo Mavrodin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcis Ghiondea in the 65th minute. If Octav Rușanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 75th minute, Ionuț Petru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romeo Mavrodin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Petru in the 80th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Răzvan Bălășescu during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the game, one of Apple FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ionuț Petru managed to, on his own, get straight through Apple FC's defense and in the 84th minute placed the ball to the left of Romeo Mavrodin. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ionuț Petru got free with Romeo Mavrodin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Narcis Ghiondea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Romeo Mavrodin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcu Ianculescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeo Mavrodin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcu Ianculescu ran back to his position shaking his head.
