Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chiuvegea's Ionuț Petru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Chiuvegea booed when Botele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Caraiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narcis Ghiondea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Bacalu having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionuț Petru in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Bacalu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th match minute, Botele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinand Stănilă to maneuver through the defense. Ionuț Petru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Narcis Ghiondea came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Chiuvegea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narcis Ghiondea couldn't finish the play. George Bacalu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Petru in the 21st minute of play. Anton Isăceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusebiu Jupân in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Botele's goal looked a bit too open when Ionuț Petru came free, but George Bacalu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chiuvegea's Narcis Ghiondea got a free kick in the 41st minute. A collision led to Chiuvegea getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Sebastian Homescu hit a great ball. The Chiuvegea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Botele were winning 0-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezar Grindeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Botele's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Ghiondea came free, but George Bacalu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristi Stolniceanu in the 56th minute of play forced Botele's goalkeeper George Bacalu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. George Bacalu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristi Stolniceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Botele's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Ghiondea came free, but George Bacalu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Octav Rușanu fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Chiuvegea's Anton Isăceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Chiuvegea from getting a goal against them. The Chiuvegea supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Botele's performance. The match ended with a win for Botele.
