Valer Corlățean acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 13th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Roger Sá. Nechifor Dragu was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in STEAUA BUCURESTI fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilian Călinescu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrian Curea saved Bolintin United from getting behind. When Sebastian Joanes came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Bolintin United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Joanes couldn't finish the play. Valer Corlățean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Joanes in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Horaţiu Bugariu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Bolintin United's Adrian Curea got control of the ball when Rareș Răchiteanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Rareș Mihădaș got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 99th minute, Cristian Ronaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
