But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liviu Florean couldn't finish the play. Mihai Alexandroae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Florean in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Secas CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Mihăilescu to maneuver through the defense. If Sebastian Gâgea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mihnea Giurchescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Silviu Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 52nd minute, Victor Boieraș made a precise shot to the right of Silviu Costa. Ghidosteu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 70 minutes of play, Secas CSS's Victor Boieraș made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silviu Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Victor Boieraș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Secas CSS's Dorin Hârțan got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ghidosteu FC's Silviu Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Giurchescu in the 85th minute of play. Liviu Florean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Mihai Alexandroae made a huge save. Dorin Hârțan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Silviu Costa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Secas CSS. Secas CSS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ghidosteu FC for a fine match.
