Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moise Rioşanu kicked off to start the match. Victor Boieraș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cazimir Mareș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurențiu Caciulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Mihai Alexandroae made a huge save. A collision led to Secas CSS getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Traian Mihăilescu hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Mihnea Giurchescu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Girbovi's Cazimir Mareș. Cazimir Mareș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cazimir Mareș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihnea Giurchescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihnea Giurchescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cazimir Mareș having to interfere. Girbovi's Laurențiu Caciulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Girbovi booed when Secas CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Mihăilescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Potocianu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cazimir Mareș. Girbovi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Secas CSS's zone, Moise Rioşanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihai Alexandroae came out of the goal and Moise Rioşanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Girbovi's Laurențiu Caciulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Secas CSS's Codrin Potocianu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 58th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Cazimir Mareș but with some difficulty. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Secas CSS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Girbovi:s goal. Mihnea Giurchescu struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Cazimir Mareș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Secas CSS. Mihnea Giurchescu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihnea Giurchescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
