In a very dangerous position, a player in FICATII FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, STEAUA's Nae Corbeanu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Șerban Nedelea. Avram Măliță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Nedelea having to interfere. If Avram Măliță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Nae Corbeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Arrigo Ferretti notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of STEAUA's Ion Aldulea. Ion Aldulea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arrigo Ferretti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ion Aldulea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Arrigo Ferretti managed to get in a good position for a shot. FICATII FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arrigo Ferretti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ion Aldulea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ion Tarcea might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Șerban Nedelea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ion Tarcea ran back to his position shaking his head. Ion Aldulea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arrigo Ferretti, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Emanuel Melinte managed to get in a good position for a shot. FICATII FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emanuel Melinte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ion Aldulea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The STEAUA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FICATII FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ion Tarcea made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Avram Măliță managed to get in a good position for a shot. STEAUA's supporters rose to their feet, but Avram Măliță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Șerban Nedelea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. STEAUA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Emanuel Melinte scored to the left of an out of position Ion Aldulea, making the score, 1-3. In the 63rdth minute of the game Ion Tarcea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FICATII FC's Șerban Nedelea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th match minute, FICATII FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Spiru to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Avram Măliță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STEAUA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Avram Măliță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as FICATII FC's Emanuel Melinte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ion Aldulea. That made the score 1-4 after 82 minutes of play. 85 minutes into the match, FICATII FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ion Tarcea came free, but Șerban Nedelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Emanuel Melinte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ion Aldulea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, STEAUA's Ion Aldulea got control of the ball when Emanuel Melinte tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Ovidiu Tăgorean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidiu Tăgorean in the 94th minute of play forced FICATII FC's goalkeeper Șerban Nedelea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
