Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Iustinian Şoimaru kicked off to start the match. Rosculesti's Gavril Istrăteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Aluncai in the 4th minute of play. Nicodim Miroiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilian Acatincăi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ferdinand Schiau made a huge save. Ferdinand Schiau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iustinian Şoimaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Valeriu Aluncai fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STEAUA BUCURESTI's protests and gave Valeriu Aluncai a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute of the match Mihail Zdroană shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Schiau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicodim Miroiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavril Istrăteanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicodim Miroiu ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgil Vasilache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinand Schiau made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Emilian Acatincăi sent off a good shot on target. When Nicodim Miroiu came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the STEAUA BUCURESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicodim Miroiu couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Rosculesti's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Diaconescu came free, but Gavril Istrăteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Valeriu Aluncai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STEAUA BUCURESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valeriu Aluncai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th match minute, STEAUA BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Vasilache to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Diaconescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gavril Istrăteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Turceanu's late challenge caught a Rosculesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodor Turceanu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, STEAUA BUCURESTI's Teodor Turceanu got a free kick in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Rosculesti defense, Valeriu Aluncai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavril Istrăteanu. The Rosculesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavril Istrăteanu should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

With a little luck, Rosculesti's Gavril Istrăteanu got control of the ball when Daniel Diaconescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nicodim Miroiu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavril Istrăteanu was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. In the 60th minute Daniel Diaconescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavril Istrăteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Corbeanu in the 67th minute of play forced STEAUA BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Ferdinand Schiau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgil Vasilache hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Mihail Zdroană might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdinand Schiau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mihail Zdroană ran back to his position shaking his head. If Virgil Vasilache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of STEAUA BUCURESTI booed when Rosculesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Corbeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rosculesti's zone, Daniel Diaconescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavril Istrăteanu came out of the goal and Daniel Diaconescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Valeriu Aluncai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Nicodim Miroiu rounded Rosculesti's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. STEAUA BUCURESTI's Valeriu Aluncai got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Schiau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Şoimaru in the 92nd minute of play. Daniel Diaconescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gavril Istrăteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilian Acatincăi took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Schiau. Ferdinand Schiau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. STEAUA BUCURESTI were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Rosculesti to leave the ground with a draw.
