Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iustinian Şoimaru got the match started through his kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emilian Acatincăi got free with Iustinian Pătru in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, U Craiova's goalkeeper Iustinian Pătru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emilian Acatincăi. In the 9th match minute, Rosculesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandu Unciuleanu to maneuver through the defense. Traian Volosin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gavril Istrăteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Curuțiu in the 15th minute of the match. Gavril Istrăteanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Traian Volosin went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Şoimaru in the 20th minute of play forced U Craiova's goalkeeper Iustinian Pătru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, U Craiova's Mircea Nae seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mircea Nae the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of U Craiova protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mircea Nae had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for U Craiova! U Craiova:s Iustinian Pătru showed great skill when he stopped Mihail Zdroană:s penalty. A collision led to Rosculesti getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Alexandru Anghel hit a great ball. Emilian Acatincăi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Iustinian Pătru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, U Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Acatincăi came free, but Iustinian Pătru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, U Craiova's Mugurel Boșneag got a free kick in the 37th minute. Alexandru Anghel made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sandu Unciuleanu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristinel Curuțiu to strike the kick off in the second half. Iustinian Pătru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilian Acatincăi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustinian Pătru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Acatincăi in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rosculesti's goalkeeper Gavril Istrăteanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Rosculesti getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Augustin Corbeanu hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Iustinian Şoimaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rosculesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, U Craiova's Claudiu Lera got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Emilian Acatincăi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Rosculesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilian Acatincăi couldn't finish the play. Iustinian Pătru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Acatincăi in the 76th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Emilian Acatincăi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Pătru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iustinian Pătru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iustinian Şoimaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iustinian Pătru came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Rosculesti's Iustinian Şoimaru. But to his dismay, Iustinian Şoimaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 88 played minutes U Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Traian Volosin. The supporters of U Craiova booed when Rosculesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iustinian Şoimaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the game, Alexandru Anghel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosculesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U Craiova the free kick. Cristinel Curuțiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rosculesti were victorious despite being under pressure from U Craiova for much of the match.
