Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Costin Mercea took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Continentalul Buzau's Denis Mirea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iacob Miulescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Bicu's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Mitulescu came free, but Iacob Miulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Borcea's late challenge caught a Continentalul Buzau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Borcea helped the player get up and apologised. Iacob Miulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Costin Mercea went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Petrică Gherasim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Miulescu having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Bicu got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Guguianu. In the 26th minute of the match Rareș Nenițescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iacob Miulescu skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iacob Guguianu in the 33rd minute of play forced Continentalul Buzau's goalkeeper Gabriel Bacalu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bicu's zone, Petrică Gherasim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iacob Miulescu came out of the goal and Petrică Gherasim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Costin Mercea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iacob Miulescu was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Iacob Guguianu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Bacalu. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Paul Borcea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iacob Guguianu was the one to do the kick off. Iacob Miulescu came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Continentalul Buzau's Anton Mitulescu. But to his dismay, Anton Mitulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 62 played minutes Bicu got a freekick which was hit by Paul Borcea. Iacob Guguianu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Continentalul Buzau's Cosmin Horea got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Bicu's Pompiliu Puric tried to score from far away in the 73rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gabriel Bacalu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cătălin Vasilică, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Iacob Guguianu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bicu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
