Aurel Brezoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Văidianu having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Panait Torouţ got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mitresti's goalkeeper Narcis Văidianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Panait Torouţ in the 60th minute of play forced Ocland's goalkeeper Ferdinand Alamaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Aurel Brezoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ocland's supporters rose to their feet, but Aurel Brezoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narcis Văidianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mitresti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Ocland a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laurențiu Isopescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mitresti's Narcis Văidianu. 3-2.
