Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Răzvan Gorgan got the match started through his kick off. Paul Romaşcanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Florin Ecobescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuel Şerbănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hotarul booed when Mocrea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Lalescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mocrea's Irinel Racoviceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Gorgan in the 15th minute of play. Răzvan Gorgan took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Irinel Racoviceanu. Irinel Racoviceanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Irinel Racoviceanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Răzvan Gorgan went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Florin Ecobescu made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Paul Romaşcanu sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Mocrea's zone, Răzvan Gorgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irinel Racoviceanu came out of the goal and Răzvan Gorgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mugurel Uduleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mocrea's supporters rose to their feet, but Mugurel Uduleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Ecobescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Florin Ecobescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Uduleanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Mocrea booed when Hotarul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigore Drăgoescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Hotarul were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Mugurel Uduleanu made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Mocrea's Paul Romaşcanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Ecobescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 55th minute Paul Romaşcanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Ecobescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 59 played minutes Mocrea got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Gaiță. Hotarul's Răzvan Gorgan got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mocrea's Irinel Racoviceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Gorgan in the 64th minute of play. Gavril Leucuța fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irinel Racoviceanu having to interfere. Eric Tâlvescu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 70 minutes in the game Răzvan Gorgan got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. In the 75th minute, Paul Romaşcanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gavril Leucuța sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Răzvan Gorgan in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Irinel Racoviceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavril Leucuța sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, Augustin Cârlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hotarul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mocrea the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Hotarul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mocrea:s goal. The referee gave Mocrea a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ionică Brăiloiu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hotarul's Florin Ecobescu. 2-2.
