Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Catalusa's Octav Chevereșan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Catalusa's zone, Felix Duldurescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugen Brănescu came out of the goal and Felix Duldurescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Eugen Brănescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felix Duldurescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Eugen Brănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Jianu kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Trifan in the 21st minute of play forced Zavoia SC's goalkeeper Florin Gaiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florin Gaiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Trifan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octav Chevereșan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Gaiță having to interfere. With a little luck, Catalusa's Eugen Brănescu got control of the ball when Felix Duldurescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Trifan in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Gaiță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 43 minutes into the match, Catalusa's Flavius Zdroană sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florin Gaiță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cazimir Crușeveanu to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Negrilă during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Catalusa's Toader Ştefănucă tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 63 minutes, Octav Chevereșan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catalusa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Chevereșan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Catalusa booed when Zavoia SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Guriță didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Catalusa's Toader Ştefănucă tried to score from far away in the 66th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Costel Trifan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cazimir Crușeveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Catalusa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
