The supporters of FC U.m.B.r.o booed when Ghertenis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Pociu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Stana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Octavian Gâțea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Emanuel Pociu made the kick off in the second half. The Ghertenis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavian Gâțea should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costel Vladimirescu during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Costel Vladimirescu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Bert Achterberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Gâțea having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Paulo Veiga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
