Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Primitivo Gora took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, GLADIATORII's Eric Răuțu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Șerban Macovei was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leontin Ogică hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Eric Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 21 minutes, Eric Răuțu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GLADIATORII's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Răuțu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Gora in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Șerban Macovei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Șerban Macovei came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by GLADIATORII's Eric Răuțu. But to his dismay, Eric Răuțu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When GLADIATORII's Primitivo Gora in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salacea CS's goalie prevented a goal. Primitivo Gora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Șerban Macovei successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Salacea CS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! Salacea CS:s Șerban Macovei showed great skill when he stopped Albert Alexiu:s penalty. Eric Răuțu took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Șerban Macovei. Șerban Macovei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Codrin Roşca to make the kick off. Grant Hobbs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Roşca in the 55th minute of the match. Eric Răuțu might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Șerban Macovei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eric Răuțu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Roşca in the 67th minute of play forced GLADIATORII's goalkeeper Grant Hobbs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salacea CS's Șerban Macovei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Răuțu in the 69th minute of play. Grant Hobbs made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Luca Frumuzache sent off a good shot on target. Codrin Roşca was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, GLADIATORII's Grant Hobbs got control of the ball when Luca Frumuzache tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eric Răuțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, GLADIATORII's Primitivo Gora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Șerban Macovei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicu Bărnuțiu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Grant Hobbs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codrin Roşca, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Gora in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Șerban Macovei saved Salacea CS from getting behind. Andrei Plopan charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrei Plopan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Andrei Plopan hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. GLADIATORII's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
