Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Pociu kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Ghertenis booed when GLADIATORII was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Răuțu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Pociu during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iacob Pânzariu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Grant Hobbs made a huge save. Grant Hobbs made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Iacob Pânzariu sent off a good shot on target. Eric Răuțu took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavian Gâțea. Octavian Gâțea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Osvaldo Aguirre managed to get in a good position for a shot. GLADIATORII's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Aguirre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Gâțea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Primitivo Gora notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Ghertenis's Octavian Gâțea. Octavian Gâțea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paul Buhuș hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Octavian Gâțea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Octavian Gâțea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Gora in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Primitivo Gora made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Valer Dejeu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ghertenis's Augustin Zamfirescu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ghertenis's Paul Buhuș got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ghertenis's Emanuel Pociu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Primitivo Gora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ghertenis's Octavian Gâțea got control of the ball when Eric Răuțu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iacob Pânzariu struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Grant Hobbs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ghertenis. If Cornel Hurmuzache had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Emanuel Pociu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grant Hobbs was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Eric Răuțu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the GLADIATORII fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Răuțu couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded GLADIATORII left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ghertenis.
