Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Remus Dănciulescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pavel Şteflea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. The supporters of Radmanesti booed when Miroslava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Nisipeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remus Dănciulescu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcel Obregia. After 11 played minutes Miroslava got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Iriza. Remus Dănciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pavel Şteflea, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Pavel Şteflea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Radmanesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Miroslava the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Radmanesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Şteflea to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Radmanesti's zone, Pavel Bondrea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Costin Alupulesei came out of the goal and Pavel Bondrea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd match minute, Radmanesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Buga to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Miroslava got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Stoiciu. After some careless play in the Miroslava defense, Pavel Şteflea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remus Dănciulescu. The Miroslava fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remus Dănciulescu should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Pavel Şteflea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Dănciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Dănciulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pavel Şteflea's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Ted Wallin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Dănciulescu having to interfere. Remus Dănciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Şteflea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Pavel Şteflea recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Remus Dănciulescu. Pavel Şteflea showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. The supporters of Radmanesti booed when Miroslava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vintilă Stoiciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Obregia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Şteflea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pavel Şteflea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Ted Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Dănciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remus Dănciulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pavel Şteflea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pavel Şteflea in the 67th minute of play forced Miroslava's goalkeeper Remus Dănciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pavel Şteflea in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Remus Dănciulescu saved Miroslava from getting behind. Miroslava's Remus Dănciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Şteflea in the 76th minute of play. Nicolae Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Dănciulescu having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Pavel Şteflea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorel Opincaru hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Miroslava were awarded a corner. Sandu Enișteanu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Miroslava's Sabin Iriza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
