Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dragoş Şchiopu made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Chisarai's Dragoş Şchiopu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Bănățeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcu Geangu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Chisarai's goalkeeper Moise Teodorescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petru Marincean. 30 minutes into the game, Mugurel Gagiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chisarai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macaresti CSS the free kick. After 30 played minutes Chisarai got a freekick which was hit by Mugurel Gagiu. Ionică Chițac took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Moise Teodorescu. Chisarai's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Moise Teodorescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Geangu in the 35th minute of the match. Dragoş Şchiopu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Fabian Bănățeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Alex Răţescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Macaresti CSS were awarded a corner. Ionică Chițac went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Macaresti CSS's Ionică Chițac to fire away a dangerous shot which Moise Teodorescu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Moise Teodorescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ernest Stolojan.

Costin Gorun, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fabian Bănățeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dragoş Şchiopu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rdth minute of the game Marcu Geangu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chisarai's Moise Teodorescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcu Geangu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moise Teodorescu having to make a save. Alex Răţescu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Moise Teodorescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Chițac in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Chisarai's Victor Zdrehuş ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabian Bănățeanu. Fabian Bănățeanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Pavel Mohora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chisarai's supporters rose to their feet, but Pavel Mohora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Bănățeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Macaresti CSS's Fabian Bănățeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Şchiopu in the 84th minute of play. Dragoş Şchiopu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabian Bănățeanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Dragoş Şchiopu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 85th minute. 96 minutes into the match, Chisarai's Pavel Mohora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Bănățeanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chisarai's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
