Filip Vişan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Geangu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Iordache Lucian hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Petru Marincean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Ispir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Denis Ispir blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabian Bănățeanu having to make a save. Petru Marincean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Filip Vişan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Bănățeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Mihaiu in the 37th minute of play. Fabian Bănățeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicodim Mănescu's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nicodim Mănescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argesani CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodim Mănescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Bănățeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Petru Marincean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horea Mumuleanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Filip Vişan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denis Ispir in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Bănățeanu saved Macaresti CSS from getting behind. Filip Vişan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Geangu in the 55th minute of play. If Denis Ispir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iordache Lucian kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Silviu Itoafă kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fabian Bănățeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodim Mănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Argesani CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordache Lucian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fabian Bănățeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Ispir went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Argesani CS's Codruț Mihaiu got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to Argesani CS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Iordache Lucian hit a great ball. Fabian Bănățeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicodim Mănescu in the 87th minute of the match. If Denis Ispir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicodim Mănescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Denis Ispir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Bănățeanu was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Fabian Bănățeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Mănescu in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Argesani CS fully deserved thier win.
