Calistrat Silişteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristide Babeș in the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Costen AS booed when Seciuri AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Hidișan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Rușanu struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Marcel Baniciu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seciuri AS. Costen AS's Marcel Baniciu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Costen AS from getting a goal against them. After having played for 14 minutes, Pompiliu Rușanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seciuri AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Rușanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 minutes, Nichifor Itu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costen AS and the Seciuri AS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nichifor Itu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Răuţă in the 24th minute of play forced Seciuri AS's goalkeeper Calistrat Silişteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Silişteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Răuţă in the 27th minute of play. If Claudiu Răuţă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seciuri AS's Calistrat Silişteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Răuţă in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Pompiliu Rușanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcel Baniciu was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Marcel Baniciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Rușanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Baniciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pompiliu Rușanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iordache Peter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Baniciu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 71 minutes of play, Seciuri AS's Pompiliu Rușanu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Baniciu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Seciuri AS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Aristide Babeș fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Iordache Peter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Baniciu having to interfere. After 91 played minutes Costen AS got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Itu. When Grigore Hârciog fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costen AS's protests and gave Grigore Hârciog a yellow card for diving instead. Grigore Hârciog kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Pompiliu Rușanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Marcel Baniciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seciuri AS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
