Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Marin Encea made the kick off and thus started the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Encea in the 3rd minute of play forced Fc Steaua's goalkeeper Edgar Tăzlăuanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Tăzlăuanu made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Horaţiu Vârnav sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th match minute, Fc Steaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Novacovici to maneuver through the defense. Martin Dunbar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Grigore Lucaci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Voevoda CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Paveliuc to maneuver through the defense. Martin Dunbar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Fc Steaua defense, Horaţiu Vârnav kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Tăzlăuanu. The Fc Steaua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Tăzlăuanu should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Fc Steaua's Matias Lico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Grigore Lucaci narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgar Tăzlăuanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horaţiu Vârnav in the 29th minute. Edgar Tăzlăuanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Encea in the 31st minute of play. Matias Lico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Lucaci having to interfere. If Martin Dunbar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Fernando Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Steaua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Guillem was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Rădoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Grigore Lucaci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Dunbar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Guillem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aristide Burdujan in the 54th minute of play forced Fc Steaua's goalkeeper Edgar Tăzlăuanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Paveliuc kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Martin Dunbar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Voevoda CS's Grigore Lucaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Guillem in the 66th minute of play. Fc Steaua's Fernando Guillem got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Voevoda CS's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Guillem came free, but Grigore Lucaci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Adrian Rădoi came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Fc Steaua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Rădoi couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Fernando Guillem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fc Steaua fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Encea in the 80th minute of play forced Fc Steaua's goalkeeper Edgar Tăzlăuanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Rădoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grigore Lucaci having to interfere. Fernando Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Horaţiu Vârnav hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Dacian Novacovici fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fc Steaua's protests and gave Dacian Novacovici a yellow card for diving instead. 88 minutes into the match, Marin Encea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Tăzlăuanu. Fc Steaua's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Encea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Voevoda CS's Dumitru Marincean got a free kick in the 91st minute. Cezar Onea might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grigore Lucaci. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cezar Onea ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, Voevoda CS could leave the field as winners, despite Fc Steaua having more of the ball for most of the match.
