Rahova Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Rareș Baldazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With his leg Nicodim Bornescu managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Rahova Boys's Iosif Șora fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rahova Boys's goalkeeper Horaţiu Stârcea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iosif Șora took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicodim Bornescu. Nicodim Bornescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Panait Melinte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rahova Boys fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Rahova Boys's Iosif Șora looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Iosif Șora in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nicodim Bornescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rareș Baldazar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicodim Bornescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. When Robert Mihele came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Rahova Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Mihele couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iosif Șora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Iosif Șora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rareș Baldazar might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicodim Bornescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panait Melinte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gherman's Nicodim Bornescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iosif Șora in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Gherman defense, Nicodim Holban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodim Bornescu. The Gherman fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodim Bornescu should have stopped the shot. Rareș Baldazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Bornescu having to interfere. Iosif Șora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nicodim Bornescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iosif Șora scored 5-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicodim Bornescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Radu Brădean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Bornescu having to interfere. When Rahova Boys's Iosif Șora in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gherman's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Blaga during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Gherman getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Robert Blaga hit a great ball. Iosif Șora's late challenge caught a Gherman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iosif Șora helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Gherman booed when Rahova Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iosif Șora didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Rahova Boys had played much better football throughout.
