Claudiu Sucigan kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Vlad Ursu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Bornescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ventzislav Ranchev came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Beius fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ventzislav Ranchev couldn't finish the play. Basarab Buciuceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Tănăsie, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Ventzislav Ranchev made a precise shot to the right of Nicodim Bornescu. Gherman's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gherman's goalkeeper Nicodim Bornescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Avram Tănăsie fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gherman's protests and gave Avram Tănăsie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute, Avram Tănăsie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ventzislav Ranchev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beius's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
