The audience thought a goal was coming when Iurie Bălășoiu got free with Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When THE Insurance TEAM's Dinu Pamfil in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 38thth minute of the game Dinu Pamfil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gherman's Nicodim Bornescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cosmin Târlea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Pamfil in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicodim Bornescu saved Gherman from getting behind.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dinu Pamfil to strike the kick off in the second half. Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Bălășoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avram Tănăsie in the 53rd minute of play forced THE Insurance TEAM's goalkeeper Emiel Van Cleijnenbruegel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot was stopped by Nicodim Bornescu but with some difficulty. If Cosmin Târlea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicodim Bornescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matei Aalexoaiei in the 84th minute. THE Insurance TEAM's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
