Paul Lixandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Istodor having to interfere. Gică Pătrășcanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alin Albescu in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Titoiu's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Lixandru came free, but Edgar Istodor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Lixandru might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edgar Istodor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Lixandru ran back to his position shaking his head. Edgar Istodor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ionuț Dănălache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Soborsin FCM left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Titoiu.
