The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aaron Nuxila to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Dan Ulici put in a rough tackle. In the 53rd minute, one of FC STEAUA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC STEAUA. David Leal scored 5-0 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudiu Șişman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toader Mailat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Proença in the 64th minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play, FC Dinamo's Dan Voinea made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudiu Șişman was left in no man's land by his defense there! 68 minutes into the match, FC Dinamo's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Colillas came free, but Toader Mailat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Sainz hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Claudiu Șişman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Voinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
