Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Octavian Horhoianu kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Ciucestii's Manuel Jilăveanu got control of the ball when Valer Ţiriac tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Sberoaia SC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Gheorghe Braica hit a great ball. When Octavian Horhoianu came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sberoaia SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavian Horhoianu couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Sberoaia SC defense, Romeo Iordache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narcis Dăianu. The Sberoaia SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narcis Dăianu should have stopped the shot. When Ciucestii's Marcu Duca in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sberoaia SC's goalie prevented a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Ciucestii's Romeo Iordache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narcis Dăianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Valer Ţiriac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Jilăveanu having to interfere. A collision led to Ciucestii getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Filip Ştefănuţ hit a great ball. Valer Ţiriac in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Manuel Jilăveanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcu Duca made a kick off. In the 55th minute of the match Ciucestii got a corner. Sberoaia SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liviu Buzilă ran over to the corner to take the kick. Liviu Buzilă made a great header on Ciucestii's corner, it was just that Sberoaia SC's Narcis Dăianu managed to reach the ball for a save. After 55 played minutes Ciucestii got a freekick which was hit by Costică Chindriș. When Sberoaia SC's Octavian Horhoianu in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciucestii's goalie prevented a goal. Sberoaia SC's Valer Ţiriac got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Sberoaia SC booed when Ciucestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionel Chițan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Ciucestii's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Ţiriac came free, but Manuel Jilăveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Sberoaia SC's Octavian Horhoianu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Jilăveanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicodim Marin hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Marcu Duca got free in front of the goal in the 70th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Narcis Dăianu was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Marcu Duca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sberoaia SC's goalkeeper Narcis Dăianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Ciucestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costică Chindriș to maneuver through the defense. The Sberoaia SC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Sberoaia SC's Nicodim Marin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
