Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) If Valer Almajan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iulian Gaiță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cerbesti CF's Ovidiu Iosub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Gaiță in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cerbesti CF's Eric Potopea got a free kick in the 24th minute. Nicodim Jilăveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Stejaru's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Cerbesti CF's Ovidiu Iosub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Gaiță in the 36th minute of play. Iulian Gaiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Iulian Gaiță managed to get in a good position for a shot. Danielesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Gaiță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Iosub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Iulian Gaiță left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Danielesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valer Almajan to make the kick off. Petru Gârdescu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Cerbesti CF's Vintilă Țepeluș broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 55 minutes into the match, Cerbesti CF's goalkeeper Ovidiu Iosub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Gaiță. In the 57th minute David Stejaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Jilăveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valer Almajan in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidiu Iosub prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petru Gârdescu's late challenge caught a Cerbesti CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petru Gârdescu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Danielesti's Petru Gârdescu got a free kick in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Cerbesti CF's Vintilă Țepeluș broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 71stth minute of the game David Mineață who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Danielesti's Nicodim Jilăveanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 76th minute, Cerbesti CF's Ioan Bucataru seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Ioan Bucataru the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cerbesti CF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ioan Bucataru had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Ovidiu Iosub, was totally fooled by Danielesti's Petru Gârdescu, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Mineață in the 84th minute of play forced Danielesti's goalkeeper Nicodim Jilăveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerbesti CF's Ovidiu Iosub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Cerbesti CF from getting a goal against them. When Iulian Gaiță came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Danielesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iulian Gaiță couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Cerbesti CF's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Almajan came free, but Ovidiu Iosub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danielesti's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
