In the 23rd minute, Toader Brătescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavius Pădureanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Rareș Blejan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rareș Blejan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Latarețu in the 34th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Rotaria's Martin Latarețu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rareș Blejan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The Serediu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rotaria were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
