Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bichigi SC's Florin Scaeru started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Gabriel Caramitru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basarab Mircescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Matasari AFC's zone, Gabriel Caramitru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Mircescu came out of the goal and Gabriel Caramitru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Augustin Foltea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ovidiu Rădescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Bodiu in the 17th minute of the match. When Răzvan Ghițescu fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bichigi SC's protests and gave Răzvan Ghițescu a yellow card for diving instead. Răzvan Ghițescu hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 19 played minutes Matasari AFC got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Uncheşelu. After a defensive mix-up in Matasari AFC's zone, Florin Scaeru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basarab Mircescu came out of the goal and Florin Scaeru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florin Slavici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Florin Scaeru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matasari AFC's Basarab Mircescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Bichigi SC booed when Matasari AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Malcocea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Matasari AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Scaeru came free, but Basarab Mircescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marin Bodiu to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florin Scaeru got free with Basarab Mircescu in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florin Scaeru in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Mircescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Valentin Uncheşelu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Basarab Mircescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florin Scaeru in the 56th minute. Florin Scaeru in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Basarab Mircescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Basarab Mircescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Caramitru, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Matasari AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Scaeru came free, but Basarab Mircescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Matasari AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Caramitru came free, but Basarab Mircescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basarab Mircescu made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Florin Scaeru sent off a good shot on target. Iustinian Baldu hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes Bichigi SC got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Baldu. The supporters of Matasari AFC booed when Bichigi SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Sălcudeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Matasari AFC's Maxim Tapalagă broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 87 played minutes Matasari AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Ailincai. Florin Scaeru struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Basarab Mircescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bichigi SC. Florin Scaeru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Basarab Mircescu made a huge save. Basarab Mircescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Ghițescu in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Bichigi SC's Dorel Blidaru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basarab Mircescu. Basarab Mircescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1.
