Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ionică Vochin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Virgil Tănăsescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Virgil Tănăsescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of MONDIAL BUCURESTI protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Virgil Tănăsescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of MONDIAL BUCURESTI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ucea AS:s goal. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Ucea AS's Iurie Păunescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcel Iovanovici. After 11 minutes of play, Ucea AS's Cazimir Cumpanașu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Iovanovici was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Cazimir Cumpanașu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Marcel Iovanovici. Marcel Iovanovici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 22 minutes, Cazimir Cumpanașu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ucea AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cazimir Cumpanașu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Șerban Carabulea's late challenge caught a Ucea AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Carabulea helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes MONDIAL BUCURESTI got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Carabulea. Martin Benga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Iovanovici having to interfere. Cornel Dorian charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Dorian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MONDIAL BUCURESTI getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cornel Dorian hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Ucea AS got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Blidaru. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Benga was the one to do the kick off. Șerban Carabulea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vali Olăroiu having to interfere. Cornel Dorian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ucea AS's zone, Șerban Carabulea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vali Olăroiu came out of the goal and Șerban Carabulea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vali Olăroiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Blănaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Șerban Carabulea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vali Olăroiu. Vali Olăroiu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Șerban Carabuleas short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Vali Olăroiu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cazimir Cumpanașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ucea AS getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Moise Bistreanu hit a great ball. When Cornel Dorian came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the MONDIAL BUCURESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornel Dorian couldn't finish the play. Șerban Carabulea might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vali Olăroiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Șerban Carabulea ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moise Bistreanu during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cezar Blănaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Vali Olăroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Ucea AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Bistreanu to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, MONDIAL BUCURESTI's Șerban Carabulea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vali Olăroiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94th minute Cazimir Cumpanașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Iovanovici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Șerban Carabulea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ucea AS had won after a very even match.
