Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iacob Elefterescu started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Obîrșeni's zone, Eliodor Mergea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Sticlaru came out of the goal and Eliodor Mergea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Iacob Elefterescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ştefan Sticlaru. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. Costel Nițulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dumitru Encea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute, Dumitru Encea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Obîrșeni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Emanuel Bratoloveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Niculiță in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, FC U Conțești's Iacob Elefterescu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ştefan Sticlaru. Ştefan Sticlaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Răzvan Olariu's late challenge caught a FC U Conțești's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Răzvan Olariu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, F.C. Obîrșeni's Răzvan Olariu got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th match minute, FC U Conțești was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Elefterescu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Costel Nițulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC U Conțești's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costel Nițulescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucrețiu Barbăneagră's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Bratoloveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. FC U Conțești's Emanuel Bratoloveanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Niculiță in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Encea in the 48th minute of play forced FC U Conțești's goalkeeper Emanuel Bratoloveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dumitru Encea to make the kick off. Emanuel Bratoloveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dumitru Encea's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Dan Niculiță's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 54thth minute, Emanuel Bratoloveanu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of FC U Conțești booed when F.C. Obîrșeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Turdeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumitru Encea in the 62nd minute of play forced FC U Conțești's goalkeeper Emanuel Bratoloveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliodor Mergea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ştefan Sticlaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costel Nițulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the game, Robert Grigoroiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Obîrșeni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC U Conțești the free kick. After 70 played minutes F.C. Obîrșeni got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Turdeanu. After 72 played minutes, FC U Conțești's Avram Ghiondea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ştefan Sticlaru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC U Conțești reached it. Lucrețiu Barbăneagră could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Emanuel Bratoloveanu made a huge save. Iacob Elefterescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ştefan Sticlaru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Costel Nițulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC U Conțești's supporters rose to their feet, but Costel Nițulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Sticlaru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Răzvan Olariu was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Răzvan Olariu hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Eliodor Mergea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Sticlaru having to interfere. Emanuel Bratoloveanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dan Niculiță went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Costel Nițulescu struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ştefan Sticlaru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC U Conțești. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Obîrșeni's zone, Iacob Elefterescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Sticlaru came out of the goal and Iacob Elefterescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costel Nițulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC U Conțești walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
