Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Calin Olaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernest Macamete having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Bistritz's zone, Dinu Costache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Macamete came out of the goal and Dinu Costache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mugurel Grindeanu fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bistritz's protests and gave Mugurel Grindeanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Mugurel Grindeanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Calin Olaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With splendid footwork Calin Olaru arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 41st minute. If Calin Olaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute, Calin Olaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorin Brădescu was the one to do the kick off. Dinu Costache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ernest Macamete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57thth minute of the game Calin Olaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bistritz's Ernest Macamete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC RAPID's Dinu Costache got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernest Macamete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calin Olaru in the 59th minute of the match. Mugurel Grindeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calistrat Cazan having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, FC RAPID's goalkeeper Calistrat Cazan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mugurel Grindeanu. Horia Tudor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Calin Olaru sped through Bistritz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ernest Macamete. Ernest Macamete came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC RAPID's Dinu Costache. But to his dismay, Dinu Costache quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 82nd minute, Calin Olaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ernest Macamete was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After having played for 90 minutes, Calin Olaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC RAPID's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calin Olaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ernest Macamete came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC RAPID's Calin Olaru. But to his dismay, Calin Olaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When the referee ended the match the FC RAPID players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
