Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ciprian Nițu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Belciu CSM's Matei Bologan got a free kick in the 5th minute. Iurie Tonegaru in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ernest Macamete, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iurie Tonegaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26th minute, Iurie Tonegaru made a precise shot to the right of Ernest Macamete. Bistritz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 30th play minutes Mugurel Grindeanu shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Cătălin Alexandru and just under the crossbar into goal. After having played for 46 minutes, Iurie Tonegaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belciu CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iurie Tonegaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorin Brădescu to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mugurel Grindeanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bistritz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The supporters of Belciu CSM booed when Bistritz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dacian Ioneasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mugurel Grindeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iustin Ivașcu fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belciu CSM's protests and gave Iustin Ivașcu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Iustin Ivașcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes Bistritz got a freekick which was hit by Felix Mortu. Ciprian Nițu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bistritz's zone, Matei Bologan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernest Macamete came out of the goal and Matei Bologan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 minutes of play, Bistritz's Mugurel Grindeanu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cătălin Alexandru was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernest Macamete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Tonegaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciprian Nițu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Macamete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
