Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marian Miroiu got the match started through his kick off. Ionică Zaharia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Cârneci having to interfere. Teodor Cârneci came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Negoescu's Eliodor Ţintea. But to his dismay, Eliodor Ţintea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eric Gheorghiță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigi Doman in the 8th minute. In the 14th minute, Costin Vâtcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Marian Miroiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Negoescu's Eric Gheorghiță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Matei Pietreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Teodor Cârneci was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Negoescu's goalkeeper Eric Gheorghiță had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigi Doman. Gigi Doman in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eric Gheorghiță, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 24 played minutes Negoescu got a freekick which was hit by Eliodor Ţintea. With his leg Eric Gheorghiță managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when FC Bucuresti's Gigi Doman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 26 minutes into the game, Eliodor Ţintea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Negoescu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Bucuresti the free kick. The supporters of FC Bucuresti booed when Negoescu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Ţintea didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Bucuresti's Marian Miroiu in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Miroiu in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Gheorghiță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eric Gheorghiță made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marian Miroiu in the 47th minute. After the first half Negoescu were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute Gigi Doman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gheorghiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Bucuresti's Gigi Doman got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Marian Miroiu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Negoescu's Eric Gheorghiță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Bucuresti's Teodor Cârneci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bucuresti from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Bucuresti's Manole Zăhărescu got a free kick in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Miroiu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Gheorghiță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petru Vasilian hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Eric Gheorghiță made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Miroiu in the 71st minute of play. In the 73rd minute Marian Miroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gheorghiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bucuresti's Marian Miroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 78 minutes of play, FC Bucuresti's Gigi Doman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eric Gheorghiță was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Negoescu's Ionică Zaharia got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 95th minute Marian Miroiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Gheorghiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matei Pietreanu in the 97th minute of play forced FC Bucuresti's goalkeeper Teodor Cârneci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bucuresti's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
