Fc Targoviste's Corneliu Burdulea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Targoviste from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Fc Targoviste's Radu Ignătescu got a free kick in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Fc Targoviste's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Mudura came free, but Corneliu Burdulea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denis Nicolae received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Corneliu Burdulea came out and tried to block the shot, but Denis Nicolae slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the game, one of Sten FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Fc Targoviste a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Romeo Huștea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sten FC's Viorel Cândea. 2-1. Corneliu Burdulea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Mudura in the 31st minute of play.
