Irinel Şumălan started the match with the kick off. Mihai Enciulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Rautesti's goalkeeper Calistrat Bîlbă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihai Enciulescu. The supporters of Rautesti booed when Frunzeasca CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valer Cismaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Frunzeasca CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Bădiliță came free, but Petrică Bocșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Cornel Floroiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Petrică Bocșa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26thth minute of the game Moise Bădiliță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frunzeasca CSS's Petrică Bocșa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moise Bădiliță in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petrică Bocșa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Frunzeasca CSS booed when Rautesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Floroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Frunzeasca CSS's Mihai Enciulescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Bîlbă narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Calistrat Bîlbă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irinel Şumălan in the 48th minute of play.

The wind increased when Moise Bădiliță made the kick off in the second half. Moise Bădiliță might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petrică Bocșa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moise Bădiliță ran back to his position shaking his head. Calistrat Bîlbă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mihai Enciulescu's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Ole Jürgens reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petrică Bocșa. The goal made the score 0-2. Moise Bădiliță blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petrică Bocșa having to make a save. Moise Bădiliță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petrică Bocșa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Frunzeasca CSS's zone, Cornel Floroiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petrică Bocșa came out of the goal and Cornel Floroiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandu Potoroacă during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Frunzeasca CSS's Sandu Potoroacă got a free kick in the 77th minute. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Moise Bădiliță put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Petrică Bocșa. Rautesti's Cornel Floroiu pulled a muscle in his back after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Valer Cismaș charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valer Cismaș the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rautesti made a substitution. Sabin Barascu replaced Cornel Floroiu. Valer Cismaș kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rdth minute of the game Moise Bădiliță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frunzeasca CSS's Petrică Bocșa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sabin Barascu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Petrică Bocșa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calistrat Bîlbă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihai Enciulescu in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moise Bădiliță in the 93rd minute of play forced Frunzeasca CSS's goalkeeper Petrică Bocșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Moise Bădiliță took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Petrică Bocșa to make any attempt to save it.
