Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Constantin Siclovan got the match started through his kick off. Gelu Brânzaș hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Eliodor Luncaniță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dragoş Zburlea made a huge save. With a little luck, Phoenix's Dragoş Zburlea got control of the ball when Eliodor Luncaniță tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidiu Florescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Dragoş Zburlea skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gelu Brânzaș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornel Gagiu during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Cazasul CF got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Gagiu. Cezar Protase's late challenge caught a Phoenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cezar Protase helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Cezar Protase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliodor Luncaniță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dragoş Zburlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Bucataru in the 41st minute of the match. Dragoş Zburlea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Florescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Constantin Siclovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moise Nenciu having to interfere. Gelu Brânzaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ovidiu Florescu made the kick off in the second half. Ovidiu Florescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dragoş Zburlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliodor Luncaniță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Phoenix's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cezar Protase was slow to take the kick. During this time Cazasul CF's players had a chance to rest. In the 72ndth minute of the game Eliodor Luncaniță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix's Dragoş Zburlea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Phoenix's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Luncaniță came free, but Dragoş Zburlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Ovidiu Florescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Zburlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
