Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mihnea Mănescu made the kick off which started today's match. Sever Sava kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Cosereni got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Maftei. 8 minutes into the match, Cosereni's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Mănescu came free, but Cornel Codreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Macaneață kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Gogoii's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Dobrea came free, but Francisc Spiridon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cornel Codreanu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Mihnea Mănescu sent off a good shot on target. In the 20th minute, Denis Vasilache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dorel Dobrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Francisc Spiridon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sorin Dugulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 played minutes, Gogoii's Nechifor Axinia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cornel Codreanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gogoii reached it. Cosereni's Denis Vasilache got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cornel Codreanu made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Sorin Dugulescu sent off a good shot on target. Ovidiu Măguran charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ovidiu Măguran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. It was beautiful to see Cosereni's Edgar Curuțiu in action when he in the 42nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 46 minutes in the game, Lucian Ibrișin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cornel Codreanu having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorel Dobrea to make the kick off. After 50 minutes, Eugen Maftei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosereni and the Gogoii players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cosereni's Eugen Maftei got a free kick in the 51st minute. Lucian Ibrișin struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Cornel Codreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gogoii. After 55 played minutes Cosereni got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Ceaușescu. Cornel Codreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Mănescu in the 56th minute of the match. Eugen Maftei hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Mihnea Mănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cornel Codreanu came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Gogoii's Lucian Ibrișin. But to his dismay, Lucian Ibrișin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Mănescu in the 69th minute of play forced Cosereni's goalkeeper Cornel Codreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cosereni's Cornel Codreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Drăgan in the 76th minute of play. Francisc Spiridon was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Dorel Dobrea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dorel Dobrea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Denis Vasilache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Francisc Spiridon made a huge save. Mihnea Mănescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cornel Codreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Sorin Dugulescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cornel Codreanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Mihnea Mănescu put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cornel Codreanu. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gogoii fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cosereni had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
