Adrian Daraban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Manuel Chiuzbaian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Bodoc UFC's David Martinaș nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Chiuzbaian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Alin Raicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. In the 37th match minute, FC Barcelona Slatina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Spirea to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Bodoc UFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Adrian Daraban hit a great ball. Manuel Chiuzbaian made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when David Martinaș sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adrian Daraban to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona Slatina's goal looked a bit too open when David Martinaș came free, but Manuel Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alin Raicu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Axinia having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Alin Raicu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Matei Axinia, passed just outside the right post. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eusebiu Mihălțan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Matei Axinia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alin Raicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Mihăiţă Spirea took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Matei Axinia to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that David Martinaș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Chiuzbaian was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. When Alin Drăgoi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. FC Barcelona Slatina's Mihăiţă Spirea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alexandru Băncilă in the 85 minute of the game. After 86 minutes, Sever Avădanei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bodoc UFC and the FC Barcelona Slatina players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bodoc UFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Sever Avădanei hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, David Martinaș got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 95th minute, Bodoc UFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alin Raicu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Barcelona Slatina players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bodoc UFC.
