Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcel Hidișan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Paul Chelbea's late challenge caught a Mihalaseni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Chelbea helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Empire Club Recea getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Paul Chelbea hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Bojonca in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costin Udroiu saved Mihalaseni from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Ernest Bojonca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Costin Udroiu was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Paul Chelbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mugurel Izbașa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Empire Club Recea got a freekick which was hit by Mihai Movileanu. Mihalaseni's Marcel Hidișan got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Ganea kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Empire Club Recea's Paul Chelbea got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Empire Club Recea's Ernest Bojonca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Costin Udroiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Ernest Bojonca made the kick off in the second half. Costin Udroiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Chelbea's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Paul Chelbea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Paul Chelbea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mihalaseni's Costin Udroiu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costin Udroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Chelbea in the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Empire Club Recea's Martin Ganea got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Hidișan in the 78th minute of play forced Empire Club Recea's goalkeeper Romeo Dabija to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Chelbea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Costin Udroiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mugurel Izbașa got free with Romeo Dabija in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costin Udroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Chelbea in the 87th minute of play. Paul Chelbea scored 3-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costin Udroiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Andrei Vartolomei fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Empire Club Recea's protests and gave Andrei Vartolomei a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mihalaseni booed when Empire Club Recea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Vartolomei didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mugurel Izbașa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mihalaseni players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Empire Club Recea.
