Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Traian Zbora started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernest Gâgea during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Ernest Gâgea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Sebastian Domuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Traian Zbora in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Vâlcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Domuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernest Gâgea was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 16th match minute, Venus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Gâgea to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Domuță in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basarab Vâlcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mugur Chițac came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Venus's Mihai Firoiu. But to his dismay, Mihai Firoiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Basarab Vâlcu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Domuță went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Basarab Vâlcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Zbora in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Slavici during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Basarab Vâlcu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Traian Zbora went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Sebastian Domuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Valer Taşcău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihai Firoiu to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Domuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Ramurenii's Traian Zbora ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basarab Vâlcu. Basarab Vâlcu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. When Traian Zbora came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Ramurenii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Traian Zbora couldn't finish the play. Traian Zbora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basarab Vâlcu having to interfere. Sebastian Domuță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Traian Zbora struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Basarab Vâlcu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramurenii. Basarab Vâlcu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. After 84 minutes, Eduard Berbec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramurenii and the Venus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Venus booed when Ramurenii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Berbec didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes, Traian Zbora mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramurenii and the Venus players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ramurenii's Traian Zbora got a free kick in the 90th minute. If Mihai Firoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Ramurenii could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venus throughout the match.
