Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Otelul Galati's Petru Roşca started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Otelul Galati booed when Elisabeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Curăreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Elisabeta's zone, Petru Roşca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Tilea came out of the goal and Petru Roşca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th match minute, Otelul Galati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernest Zgaroi to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Laurențiu Lăcătușu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petruț Tilea. The goal made the score 1-0. If Petru Roşca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petru Roşcas short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Petruț Tilea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Manole Armanca hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The Otelul Galati fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Otelul Galati's Petru Roşca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mugur Tătăruşanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Petruț Tilea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elisabeta's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Petru Roşca scored to the left of an out of position Petruț Tilea, making the score, 3-0. If Petruț Tăbăcaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petru Roşca might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petruț Tilea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petru Roşca ran back to his position shaking his head. Petru Roşca was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Otelul Galati's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 46thth minute of the game Petru Roşca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elisabeta's Petruț Tilea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Petruț Tilea came out of the goal and Petruț Tăbăcaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gavril Comișel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cătălin Urdea. That made the score 3-1 in the 60 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petru Roşca in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petruț Tilea saved Elisabeta from getting behind. Petruț Tăbăcaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Tilea having to interfere. Cătălin Urdea was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petru Roşca in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petruț Tilea saved Elisabeta from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Otelul Galati's goal looked a bit too open when Andrei Curăreanu came free, but Cătălin Urdea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petruț Tilea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petru Roşca in the 90th minute of the match. Petruț Tăbăcaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petruț Tilea having to make a save. Petru Roşca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Otelul Galati were the better team. Otelul Galati's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
