Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Darmonesti's Filip Berceanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Laurențiu Demian came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Pipera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Demian couldn't finish the play. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Darmonesti's goalkeeper Mircea Bârsan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcel Stolniciu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Darmonesti booed when Pipera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Câmpeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darmonesti's Vlad Hojbota shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 10th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mihail Ailincai but with some difficulty. Mihail Ailincai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Berceanu in the 13th minute of the match. Mircea Bârsan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgil Trifănucă in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Darmonesti defense, Laurențiu Demian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mircea Bârsan. The Darmonesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mircea Bârsan should have stopped the shot. After 26 minutes, Virgil Trifănucă made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Darmonesti's Mircea Bârsan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mircea Bârsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Eftimiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Laurențiu Demian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgil Trifănucă made a kick off. Mihăiţă Geamănu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Filip Berceanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgil Trifănucă in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Bârsan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Laurențiu Demian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Darmonesti's Mircea Bârsan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Câmpeanu in the 72nd minute of play. A hard shot by Claudiu Bercea from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Mircea Bârsan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Virgil Trifănucă was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Virgil Trifănucă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mircea Bârsan having to make a save. Virgil Trifănucă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mircea Bârsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicodim Popilean kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Laurențiu Demian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Bârsan having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Pipera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Stolniciu came free, but Mihail Ailincai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mircea Bârsan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Trifănucă, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pipera AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
