If Tadeo Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cantalaresti AS's zone, Dorel Iftimescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Chirculescu came out of the goal and Dorel Iftimescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorel Iftimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Chirculescu having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Cantalaresti AS got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Tâlvescu. Tadeo Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilian Homeag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Mihail Marioteanu made a huge save. Emilian Homeag took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihail Marioteanu. Mihail Marioteanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Tadeo Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Cantalaresti AS's Cristi Mărăscu got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute Anton Contra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Chirculescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cantalaresti AS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Emilian Homeag hit a great ball. Dorel Iftimescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cantalaresti AS's goalkeeper Edgar Chirculescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isac Enceanu made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Balesti's goal looked a bit too open when Cosmin Zglobiu came free, but Mihail Marioteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Balesti's Alex Berceanu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Dorel Iftimescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Chirculescu having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Cantalaresti AS's zone, Tadeo Lluciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Chirculescu came out of the goal and Tadeo Lluciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isac Enceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Chirculescu made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Dorel Iftimescu sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosmin Zglobiu in the 71st minute of play forced Balesti's goalkeeper Mihail Marioteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mihail Marioteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosmin Zglobiu in the 77th minute of the match. Mihail Marioteanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosmin Zglobiu in the 78th minute of play. Emilian Homeag received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mihail Marioteanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Marioteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosmin Zglobiu's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Tadeo Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Edgar Chirculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isac Enceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihail Marioteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Zglobiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cantalaresti AS's Emilian Homeag got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isac Enceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Balesti failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
