After 12 minutes of play, Jarostea AFC's Marian Wozniak made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihail Marioteanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, Balesti's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Wozniak came free, but Mihail Marioteanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mihail Marioteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo De Amicis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17th play minutes Marian Wozniak shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Mihail Marioteanu and just under the crossbar into goal. After 20 minutes, Marian Wozniak made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Balesti's Mihail Marioteanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nechifor Zotincă got free with Tudor Bercea in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Jarostea AFC's Ionică Purcărete got a free kick in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marian Wozniak in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihail Marioteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Lluciano in the 44th minute of play forced Jarostea AFC's goalkeeper Tudor Bercea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balesti's Mihail Marioteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo De Amicis in the 46th minute of play. Anton Contra kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marian Wozniak was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Wozniak in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihail Marioteanu saved Balesti from getting behind. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Marian Wozniak sped through Balesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihail Marioteanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo De Amicis in the 73rd minute of play forced Balesti's goalkeeper Mihail Marioteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Balesti got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Löfgren. Marian Wozniak came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mihail Marioteanu could save by the left post. Marian Wozniak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 80th playminute. In the 88th minute, Maxim Tecău got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jarostea AFC's zone, Nechifor Zotincă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Bercea came out of the goal and Nechifor Zotincă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mihail Marioteanu made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Marian Wozniak sent off a good shot on target. Balesti's Isac Enceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
