Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sever Dăscălescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. 10 minutes into the game, FC SRO Baia Mare's Desiderio Amato nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacian Bacanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dacian Bacanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Dăscălescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Desiderio Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Bacanu having to interfere. FC SRO Baia Mare's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marian Tache 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, FC SRO Baia Mare's goalkeeper Güven Dilsafa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nistor Berca. When Sever Dăscălescu came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FC SRO Baia Mare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sever Dăscălescu couldn't finish the play. Dacian Bacanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Amato in the 33rd minute of play. Panait Ulici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Güven Dilsafa made a huge save. When Mihai Chihaia fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC SRO Baia Mare's protests and gave Mihai Chihaia a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC SRO Baia Mare getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Mihai Chihaia hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nistor Berca in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güven Dilsafa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Desiderio Amato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sever Dăscălescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Bacanu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Sever Dăscălescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC SRO Baia Mare's supporters rose to their feet, but Sever Dăscălescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Bacanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Berca in the 46th minute of play forced FC SRO Baia Mare's goalkeeper Güven Dilsafa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, FC SRO Baia Mare's goal looked a bit too open when Marian Tache came free, but Güven Dilsafa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Berca was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pahnesti FC's Ioan Nicolescu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 57 played minutes FC SRO Baia Mare got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Amato. 63 minutes into the game, Denis Boltașu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC SRO Baia Mare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pahnesti FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of FC SRO Baia Mare:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pahnesti FC:s goal. The supporters of Pahnesti FC booed when FC SRO Baia Mare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Amato didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 71 minutes on the clock, Martin Vlaicu commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Pahnesti FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC SRO Baia Mare:s goal. Dacian Bacanu was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Sever Dăscălescu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sever Dăscălescu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Nistor Berca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güven Dilsafa having to interfere. FC SRO Baia Mare's Sever Dăscălescu got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pahnesti FC's Dacian Bacanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Pahnesti FC from getting a goal against them. Güven Dilsafa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Berca in the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded FC SRO Baia Mare left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pahnesti FC.
