Marcel Blajovan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Alin Teodor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edur Naranjo was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Costin Onitiu's late challenge caught a Fc Steaua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costin Onitiu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute Aron Arosculesei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordache Gorjanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Moise Tilea sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Romanoi Konstantinoupolis's Edur Naranjo didn't even have to move. With a little luck, Fc Steaua's Iordache Gorjanu got control of the ball when Remus Ignătoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Marcel Blajovan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Romanoi Konstantinoupolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcel Blajovan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iordache Gorjanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Remus Ignătoiu came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Romanoi Konstantinoupolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remus Ignătoiu couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilian Schiau in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edur Naranjo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fc Steaua's Iordache Gorjanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Steaua from getting a goal against them. After 43 minutes of play, Romanoi Konstantinoupolis's Marcel Blajovan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iordache Gorjanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emilian Schiau to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcel Blajovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Iordache Gorjanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Blajovan in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordache Gorjanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iordache Gorjanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Blajovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Aron Arosculesei notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Fc Steaua's Iordache Gorjanu. Iordache Gorjanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Iordache Gorjanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aron Arosculesei in the 63rd minute of the match. If Remus Ignătoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th match minute, Fc Steaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Tilea to maneuver through the defense. Iordache Gorjanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Blajovan in the 68th minute of play. Fc Steaua's Iordache Gorjanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Arosculesei in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Fc Steaua's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Blajovan came free, but Iordache Gorjanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Ignătoiu in the 72nd minute of play forced Fc Steaua's goalkeeper Iordache Gorjanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th match minute, Fc Steaua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sorin Anastasiu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remus Ignătoiu in the 77th minute of play forced Fc Steaua's goalkeeper Iordache Gorjanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Fc Steaua were awarded a corner. Moise Tilea went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcel Blajovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Iordache Gorjanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romanoi Konstantinoupolis's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
