Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mihăiţă Vornicu made the kick off which started today's match. Cristian Racoviță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudiu Amuguroancei having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Grigore Dugulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Racoviță got free with Claudiu Amuguroancei in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudiu Amuguroancei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Racoviță's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. When Petrolul Ploiesti's Cristian Racoviță in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lenauheim CSM's goalie prevented a goal. After 12 played minutes Petrolul Ploiesti got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Isaksson. If Cristian Racoviță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot 21 in the game by Alin Lucan from a close distance when the talented Claudiu Amuguroancei managed to make a qualified save. Lenauheim CSM's players were relieved. Flavius Ionașcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Zdzislaw Pysz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Maxim Grămescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Racoviță could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Claudiu Amuguroancei made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Olof Isaksson in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudiu Amuguroancei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristian Racoviță who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Claudiu Amuguroancei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Isaksson in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Claudiu Amuguroancei saved Lenauheim CSM from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Lenauheim CSM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Racoviță fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Racoviță was the one to do the kick off. Cristian Racoviță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Claudiu Amuguroancei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th match minute, Lenauheim CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Zubaşcu to maneuver through the defense. The Lenauheim CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudiu Amuguroancei should have stopped the shot. If Sven-Olof Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Mihăiţă Vornicu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zdzislaw Pysz, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Isaksson in the 69th minute of play forced Lenauheim CSM's goalkeeper Claudiu Amuguroancei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudiu Amuguroancei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Racoviță in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Cristian Racoviță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claudiu Amuguroancei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Racoviță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Sven-Olof Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petrolul Ploiesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudiu Amuguroancei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute Sven-Olof Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Amuguroancei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudiu Amuguroancei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristian Racoviță's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Lenauheim CSM's Claudiu Amuguroancei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Racoviță in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Lenauheim CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Potoroacă to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lenauheim CSM's goalkeeper Claudiu Amuguroancei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
