Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manole Cluceru got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Ida Bagus Basri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puriceni AFC's Ştefan Tăcutu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mihăiţă Oproiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Tăcutu having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Ida Bagus Basri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Puriceni AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Vlad Ştirbu hit a great ball. Manole Cluceru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Rapid Bucuresti getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ivan Simionescu hit a great ball. When Claudiu Zdrehuş came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Puriceni AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudiu Zdrehuş couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute of the match, Manole Cluceru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gabriel Ştercă saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ştefan Tăcutu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ida Bagus Basri's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Valer Bognar charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valer Bognar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Puriceni AFC's Valer Bognar got a free kick in the 29th minute. If Ida Bagus Basri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Olivar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Puriceni AFC's Ştefan Tăcutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ida Bagus Basri in the 34th minute of play. Gabriel Ştercă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vlad Ştirbu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Zdrehuş got free with Gabriel Ştercă in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emanuel Pască fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Tăcutu having to interfere. Gabriel Ştercă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Cluceru, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ida Bagus Basri made a kick off. Gabriel Ştercă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Zdrehuş, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Puriceni AFC's Ştefan Tăcutu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ida Bagus Basri in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Manole Cluceru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ştercă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ida Bagus Basri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Puriceni AFC's goalkeeper Ştefan Tăcutu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Puriceni AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vlad Ştirbu to maneuver through the defense. 62 minutes into the match, FC Rapid Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Vlad Ştirbu came free, but Gabriel Ştercă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Puriceni AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ida Bagus Basri managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Rapid Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Ida Bagus Basri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Tăcutu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Rapid Bucuresti's Ida Bagus Basri was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Puriceni AFC's goalkeeper Ştefan Tăcutu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robert Neagoe. In the 91st minute, one of Puriceni AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Puriceni AFC. The goalkeeper, Ştefan Tăcutu, was totally fooled by FC Rapid Bucuresti's Osvaldo Olivar, who 92 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Bognar in the 98th minute of play forced FC Rapid Bucuresti's goalkeeper Gabriel Ştercă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Puriceni AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Rapid Bucuresti were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
